Lifetouch Inc. is seeking a service-oriented HR Coordinator to join the HR team at their Minneapolis Lab!  The selected individual will assist with a wide array of HR operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.



Provides nonexempt, mid-level administrative and data support to the business partner function.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • The initial primary focus of this position will have a recruiting emphasis to support the high volume seasonal staffing and onboarding.

Ongoing additional responsibilities may include the following:

  • Responsible for the administration of Payroll operations, including the maintenance of Payroll/HR records including PTO management.
  • Oversight for Worker’s Compensation administration and reporting.
  • Responsible for all leave of absence processing; must maintain current knowledge of current legal requirements for all federally and state mandated leaves.
  • Process data and paperwork as part of new employee hires, status changes, payroll and PTO records, employee personal data changes.
  • Proficiency in supporting all functions of the Kronos timekeeping system and Lawson (HRIS).
  • Compile payroll statistics, prepare ad hoc reports, provide information and assistance to the HR Manager and Production Leadership staff.
  • Identify process improvements and assist with implementing new procedures to support all areas of the business.
  • Provide support for staffing, on-boarding, benefits, receptionist and other areas of HR department responsibility as needed.

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous HR experience preferred.
  • Capacity to offer excellent customer service to all levels.
  • Basic working knowledge of current employment law and Human Resources practices.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and trouble- shooting abilities.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and periods of high volume.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs.
  • Familiarity with HR Information System
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of employee data and HR-related documents
