Job Description

The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization by monitoring and evaluating program financial performance and marketing initiatives, as well as assisting with development and automation of business analytic efforts. This includes performing seasonal analysis, assisting with development and monitoring of key performance indicators, and providing support to various strategic initiatives.


  • Prepare and distribute weekly reporting and analytics on performance of various business lines
  • Provide timely and accurate analytical and interpretive information for the organization in order to facilitate and support the decision making process at all levels of the organization
  • Accountable for data mining from various sources for analytical efforts
  • Organize and lead meetings to share KPIs, trends, and new findings with other departments
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting and analysis and lead those changes which includes detailed documentation
  • Assist with ongoing data warehouse efforts by providing business need requirements, performing user acceptance testing and assisting with implementation of reporting and analytic needs
  • Assist with operational reporting and coordinating with other functional groups
  • Assist with other special projects as assigned


  • Bachelor's degree in business, mathematics or related field or equivalent related experience
  • MBA a plus


  • A minimum of two (2) to four (4) years financial analyst experience

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Self-starter with detail orientation; persistence and ability to work independently to drive execution
  • Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
  • Acute attention to detail and desire for accuracy
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and data flow concepts
  • Familiar with SQL code
  • Comfortable working with large data sets
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficient in Excel
  • Previous experience working with a public company a plus
