Assists in managing the total operation of the office; this includes retaining and profitably growing the business while providing leadership and development to satellite employees.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the management and operation of the satellite office. Includes the hiring, training, development, coaching and discipline of the office/photography support staff to provide a professional work environment.
  • Provides the leadership and direction to satellite employees. This includes providing motivation, guidance and instruction regarding personal growth, rewarding individual and team successes and ensuring the clear understanding by satellite employees of company policies and procedures.
  • Maintains an office which serves as a base of operations for conducting the business of the satellite. Responsible for the courteous, efficient, and organized operation of the satellite office and maintaining a very positive image of The Company.
  • Participates in all company-sponsored sales and product seminars to achieve a thorough understanding of all LNSS product lines, services, support materials, sales and marketing concepts and strategies.
  • Responsible for annual reviews for direct reports.
  • Responsible for the resolution with the customer of any conflicts that may arise in the manager's satellite regarding pricing, packaging, merchandising, or contractual misunderstanding that requires a personal presence in local area.
  • Maintains a high level of visibility and accessibility to customer and satellite employees.
  • Demonstrates care and concern for the safety and health of self and others by promoting and modeling all safety rules and guidelines.
  • Overview/supervise photography schedule with photography staff.
  • Monitor sales activity, bookings, renewals according to sales targets and territory plans.
  • Approve and sign specific territory expenses (TBD) as per T.M. recommendation and approval.

Sales and Service responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service support to all assigned accounts by:

  • Building relationships with current accounts through regularly scheduled service calls and portrait day visits.
  • Acting as the point of contact and providing quality product, program, and service information to accounts in a timely manner.
  • Interviewing decision-maker after Picture Day to ensure customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement (where applicable).
  • Estimating delivery date of products to accounts based on production and delivery schedule and communicating dates and timelines to accounts.
  • Providing service support to accounts as directed, including delivery of service items and portraits.
  • Assisting with data collection from accounts as required (e.g. EDT).
  • Maintaining current, detailed account information sheets and log service/sales calls with pertinent information, i.e. host staff changes, date of visit, nature of service completed and follow-up required.
  • Maintaining and updating current product and services knowledge.
  • Timely completion of weekly sales pipeline "sales plan/call log".
  • Attending regularly scheduled sales/service meetings held by Territory Manager.
  • Rebooking business in assigned accounts on Picture Day or shortly after.
  • Working to leverage existing relationships to sell deeper within an account as per hard targets for yearbooks, spring, families, sports and smilestones.
  • Represents Lifetouch in a professional manner at all times while adhering to all Company and territory policies and displays confidence and professionalism even during times of stress and in difficult situations.
  • Perform other projects or miscellaneous duties as requested or assigned.
